1. What do we want the public to know?
Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team is working to identify and engage with businesses, commercial storage facilities, industrial estates, farm premises and vehicle storage sites across Shifnal and Albrighton. This supports our work to prevent and detect burglary, theft and rural crime, in line with local policing priorities and the principles of the NPCC Crime Prevention Campaign.
2. How do we want the public to feel?
We want residents and business owners to feel reassured that proactive crime prevention activity is taking place and that we are working with local communities to reduce opportunities for offenders and keep property secure.
3. What do we want the public to do?
Please review the security of any storage areas, outbuildings, containers, yards or compounds you own or manage:
✅ Ensure gates, doors and containers are secured with quality locks
✅ Check CCTV and security lighting are working correctly
✅ Mark and record valuable property and equipment
✅ Report suspicious vehicles or individuals in rural and industrial locations
